John F. Nash Jr. è nato il 13 giugno 1928 a Bluefield, West Virginia. All'età di 22 anni, ha pubblicato la sua tesi influente & # x201C; Giochi non cooperativi & # x201D; nella rivista Annals of Mathematics. Si unì alla facoltà del Massachusetts Institute of Technology nel 1951, ma si dimise alla fine degli anni '50.
